Weekend at Grandpa and Grandma's

This weekend we went to Grandpa and Grandma's house to host a baby shower for Cindy and Steven in the anticipation of cousin Ian (induction date February 26th). While there Grandpa and Grandma spent lots of time loving the grand babies! We even let Grandpa have both babies alone for an hour while we girls attended the shower (brave us....or maybe brave Grandpa). Jacob had a great time and always has fun being spoiled by the grandparents and loving on his cousin. Jacob spent most of his time cruising along all of the furniture in the living room trying to reach who ever he could that had a computer, and was successful nine times out of ten! :)

Monday morning before we had to come home Grandpa took all of the girls (Kelsi, Twila, Cindy, Me, and Grandma) and Jacob out to breakfast at the local diner. Jacob enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and some of Grandpa's pancakes. Thanks for having us!!! We had a lot of fun!!!!!

Could it be????

I took Jacob to the pediatrician this week because I had noticed a good bit of drainage out of both of his ears. The dr. said that Jacob does have an infection in both ears but the tubes are doing their job by draining the infection so the infection is not bad. Today Jacob has been very moody and drooling like crazy....in the car he busted into tears while chewing on a toy. This afternoon while we were playing I noticed a white spot on the middle of Jacob's lower gums....COULD IT BE??? Maybe a tooth is on it's way!! From what I understand ear infections, moodiness, drooling, and gum pain are all signs of teething....so COULD IT BE? We will have to wait and see. We will keep you posted!

Good Times With Good Friends!!

This week we hosted our best friends the Williams. It was a great six days and the babies had so much fun together! Having everyone in our house truly made us realize how small our house is and how much we really need to upgrade to something bigger! Jacob and Farrah cruised around the house and enjoyed playing his piano together, playing with bubbles, playing in the ball pit and just exploring. Jacob became very attached to all of the Williams very quickly!! We are going to miss having them around and will be planning a trip to TX very soon!

Hooray we finally got snow!! Two inches....but hey that's enough for us! Jacob has yet to play in snow so we decided this morning to bundle him up and take him outside before John left for work.
