Welcome Haley!

Last week I braved the two hour drive up the mountains with the boys alone....and we survived! Jacob, Blake and I headed up the mountain to welcome the newest cousin Haley to the family. Haley was born February 2nd and just a couple days old when we arrived. While there the boys got lots of love from Mammy and Bopa. The snow fell and accumulated to about one foot, Jacob had a blast playing in the snow with his Bopa!

Small Wonders Bring BIG Joy!

The last few weeks have been exciting, tiring, and full of smiles! At just under two weeks old Blake, Jacob, Mom and Dad traveled up the mountian to visit with Bopa and Mammy. The boys did great in the car and gave me hope that I may be able to travel with them alone! After an awesome stay with the grandparents we came home to get settled before Dad went back to work. Unfortunatly the stomach flu decided to visit our home and delayed John's return to work. After some much needed rest and recovery John returned to work on Wednesday leaving me with the boys. The half week was wonderful! The boys were great and we were able to get ourselves into our routine. Then came the weekend and the snow!!! We were so excited to get about five inches of beautiful snow! Blake enjoyed sitting in his swing and looking out the window at the bright white snow and Jacob enjoyed playing outside with Dad! As a new week began Blake had his one month appointment and is growing like a champ! He is 10 pounds 8 ounces already and has grown 2 inches since birth. Keep this up and he will be as big as his brother in just a few weeks :) Although we have to give Jacob some credit, he was weighed at the doctors and is 25 pounds! Go Jacob!
